“What are we waiting for?"
Advent is a time of waiting… but waiting for what? The birth of Christ, yes, but what does Christ’s presence mean for us? This theme title is both an invitation to reflection, as well as a call to action. As we look at the lectionary texts of Advent we will explore what the prophets, gospel writers, and epistle writers are telling us about God’s plans for this world and for our lives. The kin-dom of God awaits us!
